I’d rather have a root canal than have to deal with this company again. Every single person I have dealt with at Fred’s Energy is either unfriendly, incompetent or doesn’t show up on time. Customer service goes a long way and these folks lack any bit of understanding of what that means. Would give negative stars if it was possible. Their tag line of “you’ve got a friend” is laughable.

Wonderful people I have had to deal with them at work in St. Johnsbury and at home in Morrisville. So committed came during a Nor’easter to check on our gas.

Talked to multiple people while setting up my account last week and was told by multiple people I would be on the schedule for Monday. I was totally out of fuel because another fuel company gave me the run around for 2 weeks so I was switching, hoping Fred’s would be different… they were not. They did not come when they said they would. When I called to inquire they told me they could send someone tomorrow for 200 and then told me it would be another 137 for a relight fee because I am out. Called up and got a price on fuel oil for 375 a gallon and then when they delivered it, it was four dollars a gallon So they took a $50 bill out of my wallet
