I’ve both bought jewelry from Fredericksburg Jeweler and used their services to resize old jewelry and to obtain appraisals. They are always fair in their prices and do quality work.
I will say this is the only place in town that would do my ring repair on-site, without sending it out for a week or two. Everyone was polite, and my ring was fixed as requested. UPDATED: They made it right. Great customer service, nice people. However I paid for and was told I would get a same day repair (I dropped it off at opening), but hadn't even gotten a call about it by mid-day the following day. Excellent customer service and quick turnaround! Jon was extremely helpful when I took my wedding set in to be fixed. He was thorough in documenting my ring and providing the services needed to re dip my white gold set and secure my loose center stone. When I received it back in a super timely manner, it looked brand new again! Thank you to Jon and all his help at Fredericksburg Jewelers! We will be using them for all our needed repairs and appraisals in the future!

I will never step toe in this place again. Came in with a vintage gold ring . The young man working there gave me his lower then pawnshop offer. When I disclosed the pawnshop gave a much higher double his offer .he acted like a child jumped out of his chair and said hurry over there to get that money here let me help you with the door . He proceeded to open the door like a child throwing a temper tantrum because I wouldn't let him hustle me . Yea very unprofessional and bad business behavior.
