Palm sails —property 94265 The master room is NOT a king bed as advertised— it’s a full or double at best! That was very disappointing when that is the number 1 thing we look for when renting a place. Also the Roku in the master did not work bc it did not have a remote nor was the Roku connected to a power source, and that was the only way to watch TV upstairs. My husband and I stayed in the Bear Cabin in Fredericksburg, TX, a managed by Vacasa. There was no shower, only a bath tub, so in order to bathe, you literally had to sit in the tub, could not stand. This wouldn’t have been a problem, but when I turned on the jets in the tub, it filled up with dirt and leaves. We were planning to stay 2 nights but left because we didn’t want to be unable to bathe all weekend, and that was gross. We booked a house for a trip to Breckenridge in December 2022. Three days before our trip, they cancelled our reservation due to a burst pipe and flooded house. Vacasa offered a very inferior property as a replacement and tried to justify the new property because it had the same amount of bedrooms, even though the bed sizes were less, the furniture was extremely outdated, and the location was less ideal than the original booking. I spoke with Chris to book a stay at Blue Skies Retro Resort, managed by Vacasa, in Fredericksburg. Chris was one of the most helpful customer service employees I've ever spoken to, and I really appreciate his willingness to help me with such diligence. Thanks Chris! I'm even more excited to stay here now.
