lots of great programs for seniors
The center has great classes and events. The instructors and staff members are helpfull and friendly.
Day trips, special lunches (Easter, Passover, Indian), wide variety of classes, gentle yoga.
haven't used the center much yet; but find the exercise classes (so far - chair yoga and beginner tai chi) to be very good, and quite reasonably priced. hoping to take advantage of more of the benefits as time goes on.
Even with Taney's antiquated technology & compromised, cramped facility (compared to other MD counties) Frederick Sr Ctr is managing to soar with activity since Ctr Mgr, Dara, & Asst, Sue, have teamed-up. Amazingly effective Leadership, with sparse resources, is most impressive & has us now staying in county for interesting, regular activities.
I feel the activities and and other benefits are more than reasonably priced, enjoyable and convenient . There is sincere focus on the wants and the needs of the ever growing senior population in Frederick County.
Great place for classes for exercise and learning many things.
