Dr. Herman is a treasure My husband and I moved to Frederick, Maryland, from Pennsylvania this year and needed to find all new doctors. Awesome Dr, great bedside manner! I had to find a new Dr after my previous Dr closed his practice. At the advice of family and friends, I looked into Frederick Primary Care Assoc and chose Dr Herman as she was the only DO with the practice, and I really prefer the DO's philosophy of medical care more than the MD. She has been nothing but amazing. I always get to see her, not just the nurse practioner, she is VERY thorough and even caught some things that my previous PCP did not. Physical = Pap smear?? I went to see this doctor for a physical and she told me since I already had a pap smear with someone else that my insurance would not cover a physical. They are two different things!! Then she said well I will give you one anyway and we'll just call it something else for insurance purposes.
