You offer grief support! Do you offer condolences when residents pass away from a fall? #not feeling the love anymore!
It was okay while my mom was there. She was a dementia patient. As soon as she became more difficult to take care of, they booted her out. We were more than willing to pay the extra for skilled care (no MA, straight out of pocket) but they refused us. We thought/they told us she would be welcome until her final days. Shame on Frederick! All they want is the perfect patient. My heart is broken, not a fan of Frederick!
My parents have lived at Frederick for seven years now. My dad passed away in June, we are truly blessed that they live in such a wonderful caring community. The staff was beyond helpful to both of my parents and our family it was a very stressful time. There was nothing they could not or would not do to help my mom through She has so many friends I know how happy she is in her Cottage. My mom and dad lived at Frederick since 1993. Mom passed in July of 2007 and dad passed in October of 2015. They both loved living there. They were in the apartments (first floor, 120 Oak Tree Ct.). Mom was in the nursing wing when she passed from diabetes issues.. Dad was in assisted living when he passed from complications from a head injury after a fall. I have been a resident just over seven years. My family and I feel so blessed for me to live in an environment such as Frederick provides. Our wonderful staff, throughout the complex, provide the care, compassion, prayers and love that we often need to make it through the day. Many fun things to do, volunteering opportunities, great dining options, new and old friendships to be made and retained.
