What can I say about Freddy's? Stand in line and listen to all the people talk about the best Italian food and gelato they have ever had. My favorite is the chicken lemon e to take home after having lunch and sampling all the wonderful choices. Well worth the drive...well worth the wait....love the owners and wait staff.... unique and fabulous delightful dining experience.
I moved to Chicago by way of New York and it took my wife (girlfriend at the time) and brother-in-law 2 years before they brought me. The second I walked through the doors I felt like I was back home and not a single dish will disappoint. Authentic on every level, a true diamond in the rough.
