Love this Italian Deli! Great cold cuts, bread, Italian products. Always crowded (though now practicing safe social distancing and masks required) so you know it’s good and fresh. They are always well staffed with friendly and helpful people. I have never gone wrong with anything we have ordered. Best meatball sandwich in Chicago land. And a large variety of gelato. One important point to know is it is Cash Only.
Practically perfect ever since they’ve been open and that’s been a long time. Been visiting for almost 50 years now.
today was disappointing my pizza slices were much smaller then usually. Shame on you freddy.

Freddy’s is an institution within itself and with very good reason! The staff is incredible with constant service with a smile and you feel like you are at your grandparents house. The food is better than most Italian fine dining restaurants and and a fraction of the cost. Some of Freddys special that we love are pepperoni bread, prosciutto subs, artichokes and pizza and porchetta in the spring. Cash only and well worth the wait you cannot go wrong any time at Freddys!
Freddy's is when the last gems of Cicero. they all work together as a family and will always be a staple in Cicero. the food is authentic and amazing
