RecommendedWe stopped for lunch with our kids today and had a fantastic experience. The historic bank building is beautiful, service was great, and we all loved our food - (1) Salad Special (mixed greens with grilled chicken, corn, black beans and cilantro-lime dressing (2) brisket sandwich (3) mac and cheese with vegetables (4) chicken fingers.
Great food (had the bbq brisket plate) plus great service and reasonable price for the quality.
The best burger in Madison happens to be in Spring Green!
We arrived after the lunch madness but the wait staff were dynamite. My waitress recommendation of their grilled cheese, apples, bacon and grilled onion sandwich and sweet potato fries was positively sublime! Mike loved his Public burger with WI Swiss cheese. They had an incredibly large choice of beers, ciders and wines as well. I had the Irish pear cider and Mike a more local IPA which we both enjoyed. So thrilled we took the time to come here. The atmosphere was so well done too! Do yourself a favor and come here!
Amazing food and nice staff. It can be busy on APT nights, but worth getting there early for. I only wish they were closer, but a great excuse for a road trip!
Menu and service was great! And can’t find words to describe the atmosphere...old, new...done so beautifully! Just a great place to go back to and recommend.
Our all time Favorite Restaurant. We have been coming here for years, and the staff always exceeds expectations. If you haven't been here before, Freddy's should be on the top of your "must visit" places.
Best Creamy Shitake soup ever! Our dinner was absolutely delicious and full of flavor in every bite.
