My husband and I came down this weekend for a weekend getaway. We ate at Freddie’s both nights! The pork chops are so amazing, I ordered two of them so I can take one back to Winston Salem with me. We waited over two hours but every bite was worth it. That is our fourth time there and never had a bad dish. Can’t wait till October to go back!
RecommendedI am in love with Freddie's chops. Every time we go there I try a different one and find a new favorite! The service is always outstanding! Part of me wants to keep Freddie's a secret, but that would be disservice to my fellow food lovers. BTW I see lots of comments for reservations and yes I highly recommend that as well, but they take reservations for parties of 6 or more. My visits to Carolina Beach or Kure Beach are never complete without a trip to Freddie's. The Crab Dip Stuffed Portabella and Firehouse Chop are my go-to dinner. Best house salad ANYWHERE. And ask about taking home a pint jar of Barb's dressing!

Yup, the reviews are correct. Excellent chops and service. Reservations are highly recommended if you want to be sure to get a table. I had the rum runner chops and my wife had the pecan peach. Both excellent but I personally thought the pecan were more tasty as they were just loaded with fruit.
