DR Fred takes the time to listen, understand and discusses solutions - not a treatment of symptoms. In addition my experience, he is there to treat root causes if possible. He prods and pokes when necessary, sends the patient for stays and/or blood works then decides root cause and treats accordingly. My husband has been with Dr. M for 11+ years. Medical staff has always been spotty but my husband liked Dr. M and stayed ....up until now. His medical assistant, who was too busy to check voice mails for 7 hours, told me Dr. M was too busy with other patients to address his request until after 5pm (he's a patient himself and time was critical because my husband was on the east coast and the pharmacy closes), that my husband would not get lime disease from his deer tick bite (how does she know that), no other Dr. in the offic... read more
Dr Fred is an amazing person who genuinely cares about his patients. I’m lucky to have found him!
Dr. Fred Mendoza listens. From his listening, he gleans understanding of the person with a disease. He integrates internal medicine knowledge with practical advice, treatments consistent with current practices, and the lives and goals of his patients. His bedside manner is that of a healing presence.
Have seen Dr Mendoza several times over the past year. He is courteous and takes the time to explain things to you. The office staff is completely incompetent. Prescriptions incorrectly sent over to the pharmacy or not sent at all. Office phones busy all day. No responce to emails. Makes the entire experience not very good.
I was looking for a new GP because it's impossible to contact my current one. I called Dr Mendoza's office and hung up after being on hold for far too long. It's like jumping from the pan into the fire. It's plain to see why so many Americans are going to Mexico for medical care.
Dr Fred has been attentive, listens to my needs, orders needed tests, etc. He is caring, and spends the time necessary to address an issue. I recommend Dr Fred!
As always, Dr Mendoza and his entire team of medical professionals treated me with a caring and interest that we all want and need from our medical team. Too often, this does not occur when we need medical advice and service. You will not be disappointed, if you can get a appointment with this remarkable medical and administrative team.
