I called today to get one of my Rx transferred from hospital to FM, since I use FM Pharmacy for my monthy Rxs. I was told to call the hospital pharmacy. Once I did that, the hospital pharmacy told me that FM has to make the request. So, had the customer service at FM done their job correctly the first time, I wouldn't be making multiple calls trying to get my Rx transferred, only the first call. Used to be great but have become slow, rude, and not efficient. Always short staffed. Sometimes it has taken 3 tries before they check their fax for my scripts. If they need to verify with your Dr they never check for a reply! Always put on hold 2-3 times often without asking. Now that they are taking on Rite Aid patients I can only imagine. I will be moving to COSTCO.

On May 4th, 2023 I was sold alcohol two separate times throughout the day without my I.D when I was purchasing for instacart orders. I came back a 3rd time, and even though they had sold alcohol twice before that day and even though I had the instacart ID they refused to sell to me. I picked back up the alcohol and turned around to tell them I was going to take it back to put on the shelf and the said that I could not touch it. Not friendly at all! Need to be down to earth and not so judgmental on people!
My complaint..... Pharmacy filled RX for instant opiod 4 days late in August and had no explanation. I was prescribed instant and extended irelief. I dealt with it using the extended Rx. It helped because it had to. Pain center changed my med on 9/10 to only instant. Your pharmacy AGAIN won't fill the Rx on the day the DOCTOR said. F. M. Is now holding all my meds for 4 days AGAIN. They do not care if your prescription is filled or not. Customer care is at the bottom of their priorities.
I typically don't make online reviews (good or bad) and my grace bucket is quite high but as an advocate for my husband and for people treating others with respect, I was absolutely appalled by the rudeness of the Pharmacist at the Newberg Fred Meyer location. We are very friendly, patient, gracious people and my husband walked away biting his tongue and feeling completely disrespected after trying to fill the same Rx he has been filling for decades at another FM location which just happened to be out this one time.
