As a retired pharmacy technician I can say I’ve never seen anything like this. Your doctor can order a new prescription ( like an antibiotic ) and it won’t be ready until the next day. Refills? 3 days even if you have refills. The pharmacists have been great. The clerks running the register? Rude.
Very disorganized pharmacy. They used to be excellent. I understand a pharmacy closed and they had to pivot to handle an influx of customers, but that was years ago at this point. How long is that going to be the excuse for incompetence? Two stars only because they do have some professional staff there. Unfortunately, it's a mix, which makes the service inconsistent. I work in healthcare, so I understand that it is a very busy profession and I’m sure they are very busy constantly within the pharmacy. However, when I’m told to call back with updated insurance information to make sure I get my prescriptions on time it’s pretty frustrating being placed on hold only to be hung up on several times in a row And I don’t feel that is very professional. It's been 2 years and NOTHING has changed. My daughter is on seizure meds and autofill does not guarantee they will even order it at all. It's been 6 months since I had to switch to fred meyers for my daughters seizure meds and it has been the most terrifying experience every single month. The earliest they will let me request the fill is 4 days before(autofill is a joke), but then they wait four days later to order the medication which then takes 4 MORE days.
