A surprisingly happening place. Fabulous selection of wine and beers. The best part is the staff. They know everything about beer and wine and love to share their knowledge. The staff is friendly and funny.
Quaint and unpresuming, this bar is a quite the neighborhood gem. While Portlandia fanboys and hipster folk line up outside more happening joints like M Bar or Clyde Common, we normal folk - unfettered by Yelp reviews or international praise - flock to what's natural and comfortable, that is, the modest bar hidden just across from the Deli department inside the Burnside Fred Meyer. Cheap drafts and free sammich trays leftover from earlier day's samples - it doesn't get any more authentically "Portland" than that.
I'm one of the servers at our stadium Fred Meyers Growler station. I would like to thank all of our customers for making this new department a successful one. I look forward to filling up Growlers and to serve up pints of beer, cider and glasses of wine, don't forget that we offer a "HAPPY HOUR " seven days a week from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm also when the Timbers have a home game we've extended the happy hours..
