I brought an aluminum piece to them for custom bending and shaping that would be used as an additional hand grip on a camera. They worked with me to understand the purpose and requirements of the piece and then gradually adjusted the part for my ergonomics. The result is just right and is very comfortable to use. Friendly people that were happy to come up with the right solution for me.

Closed, it was—but the welds whispered stories. Though I came after hours, Fred Martin Welding Co. had already left its mark. Droids crafted from pipe greeted me mid-wave. A rainbow “Smile” wall radiated joy. Even the shop sign hung like a starfighter—suspended by pulleys and grit. Not sure what awaits inside—perhaps just the forge itself—but the exterior alone is an art gallery worthy of a detour. Professional and trustworthy staff repaired a broken weld on a chair base. They were able to evaluate the problem, make the repair, and were honest when a mistake was made. I could not recommend them more strongly for their work and integrity.
