He was very understanding and caring, what I really liked also is he remembered things, people and places I talked about years ago without looking at the notes, that lets me know he was listening. On like a person I saw before him. When I needed extra help he was there. I am now better and no longer see him. In fact even applied and got another job that I really enjoy.

I just want to confirm some of the negative reviews here. He was late to almost every appointment and seemed to have an "agenda" and also ghosted/stopped responding. I was really in need of therapy and that experience was more harmful than good. Thank God there are others out there and I was able to turn my life around. Look elsewhere and skip Brook Lane too.
I am a therapist and I was SHOCKED by Fred's demeanor. He missed 3 of our appointments within the first 3-4 months of our treatment. Then, our last session consisted of me telling him that he wasn't listening to me at all. He kept forcing his agenda upon me. I attempted to tell him how I felt and all he could say was, "Message received." I would not recommend him to anyone that wants care, concern, or kindness. And remember, this is from someone in his profession...
I saw Fred several years ago after I suffered trauma watching my dog fall through ice and perish. He was sensitive, listened to my guilt, and offered a perspective that I still share with friends who lose pets- always giving Fred credit for the wisdom! I then returned to him a second time for help with an abusive relationship. Can't say enough wonderful things about him!
