Fred hains transportation bad business I was reading all the reviews here. The people that write good reviews are people that work in Fred hains not owner operators. All the people have comments bad about Fred hains believe on them Fred hains don't like to pay what belongs to owner operators. Vice President Fred Haines & Co. has been around for 30 years for a reason and has had several owner/ops whom have worked for us for 15+ years for an even better reason, we are fair and we appreciate our owner/operators. We require a 90 day commitment and a 2 week notice when we hire owner/operators. If you don't agree with that then tell us that when you ask to work here. Owner My husband has been in the trucking business for 35 yrs. This is the worst company he has worked for. They tell you lies all lies. Yeah they have the loads. But they want you to run illegal. They tell you what they think you want to hear instead of the truth. You can't make money at this company. Great place to work! Great company to work for! They pay well, work hard, and have loads year round. Jason, Mike, Derek all great to work for. There are two kinds of drivers these days ... ones that WORK and ones that CRY ... I can tell the drivers below LOVE to CRY! Trucking companies need to stay clear of these babies! Driver I've been working for Fred Haines Trans. for 6+ months now. Best move I ever made. Not sure why all you other guys seem disgruntled. You must have been lousy drivers or not followed the rules. Jason has helped me with advances when I need to do work on my truck and he has also expressed thanks with a pay increase recently. I like their new mileage pay scale as well. Idiocracy The fact that these previous responders cannot even use proper grammer or proper spelling leaves me to believe that their arguements are not valid. As someone else who has worked for this company I can only say that they were very fair with the way they handled things.
