My Mother recently passed away in Joliet, but her Funeral Trust and Funeral Home contract was in Central Wisconsin. It was a cluster in the making when I asked the Joliet Danes Funeral Home for assistance. In just 3 days everything was straightened out and Mom's ashes were handed to us. I gladly paid the clear, itemzed and very reasonably priced invoice which was much cheaper than the Wisconsin contract that Mom signed 15 years earlier. I would like to thank DAVID at Fred C Dames for a beautiful Memorial Service honoring my husband, Paul, on 12-29-18. At a time of extreme grief, I never had to worry about doing anything; David took care of everything. Everyone at Dames was so kind and considerate. Dames was recommended by my neighbor who personally knows their family. I’m very glad I used their recommendation.
They are a GREAT and COMPASSIONATE Family, that has been passed down thru the generations. Known this Family for many years. They have serviced many of our family and friends over the years. Last Mar. 15, 2017, they helped us make arrangements and personally serviced my Dad's wake and Funeral. It meant a lot to our Family. David at Fred C. Dames Funeral Home was amazing in our time of need. Every detail was taken care of. When a slight problem did occur with our church- David fixed the issue and allowed us to focus on the unexpected loss of our son. We never felt like a customer and we were not judged or pushed. He took his time with us and made us feel like any decision we made was the right one.
Fred and David were wonderful with my mom's wake and funeral. They did an amazing job, and worked with Woodlawn Cemetery to go above and beyond to help my grandmother during this difficult time. We are grateful for everything they have done. Thank you!!
