Set up appointment to sell my Nissan Rouge to Nissan of Asheville. They inspected my car and drove it. I was given an offer. The sales manager came in and stated he would love to have the car and requested a chance to purchase. I told him I would think on it. It seemed low (as I expected) but they were professional and we discussed trades. I left to consider the deal. After researching I found CARMAX was willing to pay 3000 more for my car. They contacted me several times, making 'appointments' available with their sales staff at my convenience. When I told them I'd purchased a truck at another location, they politely offered service if I was ever in their area.

I'd been driving Nissans since they were Datsun (1981) I had bought 3 from Fred Anderson since 2012, plus I had traded low mile like new Nissans each purchase. It has been my experience that once they sell the vehicle, they don't care to hear from you again. They don't take phone calls in finance dept, even the general manager will not return phone calls or answer when called. Bobby was great. I told him that we would be at the dealership Saturday morning at 9am. We arrived at 8:55, he was waiting on us with keys in hand. 9:15 we were signing papers. Headed home with our car around 11am. Sure, some preliminary exchange of information took place, but I knew what I wanted and he had it.
