Frates Drive In restaurant has fabulous food and it looks fantastic. The building and the grounds are sparkling clean and the fiberglass cows, Elvis and the classic Bel-Air on the side of the building brings you back to the 50's! The outside seating is nice, the picnic tables are very nice and with the plastic shades down, it makes it comfortable on a cool night. The food is excellent! Great place! Clean and great prices. Ice cream was sooo good
If I lived in Idaho and ordered Baked Haddock I would not be surprised to get a plate with something that might not look like fish. But I live in New England so when I get Clam Cakes that are round and flat and not only don't have an identifiable clam, they don't even have any hint of clam flavor. 10 bucks for five. The worse food item I've ever been served. Right in the trash.
