Do not eat here - you'll get sick – This past Sunday, my family dined at the Buckhead location prior to my parents? anniversary vacation to Europe. After a relaxing and quiet dinner, ALL 7 OF US WOKE UP SICK FROM BAD FOOD PREP that crippled us for 4 days, including my parents who suffered in a five star hotel in Rome trying to recover so they could enjoy the long-awaited vacation they had been planning for more than a year.
Lots of Food! – My boyfriend and I went to this restaurant while visiting Atlanta. The decor is so nice! It's really cozy and romantic. You get lots of food for the money! We were really impressed and will definitely go back when we visit Atlanta again.
great place for a date – Have been here 3 times. First couple as a group....third time with a date. The atmosphere is very dating-friendly. Comfortable enough to be intimate with your date but has the style and romantic mood to enhance it. The food..as you may know...huge portions. We had leftovers for 2 more meals. We ordered two regular sized portion plates. The wine selections were ok. The food was good. Try it out.
Huge plates of pasta feed tables of 10 in a casual atmosphere. – The Scene Tables of teenagers with Dad's credit card giggle alongside businesspeople on the corporate tab. Alumni reunion or birthday celebration, this cavernous family-style Italian restaurant is suited for big groups and big noise. Spinach leaves tossed in a mild, creamy Gorgonzola dressing with toasted almonds, sl... read more
How Romantic – Absolutely wonderful dinner. Family style gave us so much food that we had enough to eat on for a week. I can't say enough about the service, food, wine, free dessert for my birthday. It was all the best.
First time daters - FYI – One thing to keep in mind when ordering here is that a whole portion makes for a bigger bill than a half and waiters know bigger bill = bigger tip. I've seen waiters suggest a whole portion to first timers, implying that a "real man" should be able to handle it (in front of his date of course). This place is best for groups because it is family style portions, but if you do go on a date - a half portion is a large portion for one person. The food is good, though the pasta selections are fairly limit... read more
this is italian – I accidently stumbled upon this place one night, and am so glad I did. Great atmosphere, wonderful food, huge portions and good service. Good place for a date, but go hungry! The salads are not to be missed, and make sure to save room for dessert (it's hard to do when the salads and entrees are so good).
buono – 'The' place to go for special occasions..Always fun and filling...
