Dr. Bureau sold her business to private equity a few years ago. She gives consultations in her exam rooms over a Zoom call from another country. They were a great vet back when Dr. Fraser was alive. Now she does little but demand vaccines and poisoning by pesticides. RIP Edit...selling to a British Columbia business in 2021 undermined your credibility. My cat and dog's records were poorly maintained and full of wrong information that showed a low standard of care. Quality of care fell through the floor.
I went to Fraser-MacDonald for 6 years and had a really mixed experience. What I liked about going there was everything was really straightforward. I never felt like I was being upsold or overcharged. They get the job done. They also are very accommodating on appointment times and were able to get us in right away when we had an emergency. On the other hand, I never felt like my cat was well cared for here. There are no niceties, no warmth.
