my last experience cost Fraser Heights a client. I have going here for years and this last time was the worst. Took my 15 yo cat in for yearly exam which the vet took 1.5 min, like really. Also wanted my cat groomed in the lion cut. Almost $500 later I took my cat home, let him out of his carrier and I almost died. They had shaved him down to his skin and I had shown an earlier pic in which he was not shaved like that. Then he spasms for 3 days I thought he was going die. We just came home from our first check up at Fraser Heights and it was wonderful experience. Hershey, like many dogs, gets very anxious at the vet and the staff there were so patient and gentle. This is the first time Hershey has become comfortable (wasn't trying to escape the whole time) being at a clinic and she's 18 years old! Dr Julian really took the time to check Hershey, explain what he observed, diagnose, and provide his advice. I'm so happy we found a great vet in our new neighbourhood!
Teddy approves of Dr. Cindy Duff and her staff and he seemed to find his entire experience to be so much fun! He was kept busy with treats and cuddles and showed little notice of his vaccines done at this appointment. Afterwards we went to Bosleys across the street for more treats and a toy for such a good boy Teddy 🧸.
Took my dog in for acupuncture but after a thorough exam decided x-rays would be a good first step to determine the cause of her prolonged coughing bouts (I thought it was her collapsed trachea)....turns out it's bronchitis so will be switching medications and return for acupuncture in the future.
