We had THE BEST fried clams while we sat on the deck. We watched seals, a bald eagle, and the tide come in. The food is really really good and everyone there is incredibly friendly. If you're in Lubec, check out Frank's! (They're super popular, so get there BEFORE closing time.)
We have been coming to Lubec every summer for six years, and absolutely love Frank’s. From the prime rib, to the fried seafood, the wonderful pasta dishes, we’ve never had a bad meal. In fact, they’ve all been pretty great. The staff is always welcoming, and there’s nothing quite like sitting on the deck on a warm day watching the seals, or just taking in the view. But that’s just an added bonus, the real pleasure is the service and the food. A must try if you’re ever in Lubec.
The people that run this place are the best and the food is so good it's hard to describe it. I would highly recommend you check this place out if you are in the area, if not it's worth the trip.
Frank's never fails to excel in the presentation and quality of their food. We love the pasta and anything with chicken. Also love the fish. Frank and Wanda are great people and their crew is excellent.
