Total waste of time and money! I showed up 15 minutes after they opened to get a tire patched (a 30 minute job) and it took them 2 1/2 hours to do it. They dont schedule appointments for anything, big or small. One man there is nice, the other has TERRIBLE customer service. I will NEVER go back there again. Don't be fooled by the 'good ol' boy' routine they throw you either. I wish i could do less than one star. oh well.
They are Great!!! These guys are great!!! Took me right in without an appointment. Good work and wonderful customer service. What a pleasant experience. They will be getting all of my business in the future
New Location! I was just reading the review and noted that it was dated 2005! They have a nice new building located at 910 E. Main now, so no worries about the location! I just contacted Frank's to get a price on some tires. A good price on truck tires, same price as I got from Wal-Mart on a comparable tire.
Frank's Discount Tire UPDATE: The gentleman working the counter was apologetic and did not charge me for the work done to my car even though I was insistent and wanted to pay for the service . Frank's Tires Franks doesn't have the most appealing location. They are very crowded with junked up cars needing repairs and the shop they use is very run down. They are a very fair and honest business from my dealings and will not try to jack the price up on you. They do a great job on the cars and provide quality customer service. They don't try to sell you something you don't need. The location is easy to get to and find but doesn't have easy in and out access. I would recommend this to someone needing quality work.
Franks Discount Tire is a place I trust I am on my second life-time tire rotation & balance, plus flat repair contract with Franks. The first was on tires I bought from them on a car subsequently totaled. I took my brand new Honda to them when I picked up a nail in the tire about the time it was due for its first tire rotation. Poor Customer Service - High Prices A while back I needed a tire repaired. I went to Franks asked the price for repair and was quoted a price. When it was time to pay, the price was 10 dollars higher than quoted. I asked why and they said they balanced the tire for me too. I told them I had not asked to have it balanced because I was going to use it only as a spare for an emergency. Save a little money waste alot of time On 8/24/2010 - don't go to Frank's Discount Tire in Lexington, SC unless you have lots of time to waste. I don't care how much money you save you lose it in the time wasted waiting on them taking oil changes, plugging nail in tires before actually waiting on customers who are getting a whole set of new tires. When I first arrived there the guy told me it would be about one hour and forty five minutes. My car didn't move from the parking space for over two hours! The whole experience too... read more
