We had a meal for a party of 13 on an early Sunday afternoon- the meals came out timely, every meal was just right- I especially enjoyed my prime rib, others enjoyed the chicken special. The portions were amazing- many brought home take home boxes. We were seated in the 'back area', and were able to enjoy great food and great conversation. Inconsistent and never on time. Ordered take out last night, got to restaurant and waited 30 minutes from the time my food was supposed to be ready. Got an apology but no discount. This has happened many times and I will not be back. Try to support local, but it’s just not worth it with Franklins.
.....I do want to apologize for the disgusting diner that Franklin's served up this evening....the bill was absolutely outrageous for the quality of food we had. I've had that uneasy feeling in the pit of my stomach for the experience that we had encountered, unfortunately our past experiences we had there brought us there this evening, and will certainly hinder any suggestions and considerations of every going again. It’s cold outside here in Proctor and Franklins delivers to your door ! The food is delicious! I usually get the daily special. Absolutely outstanding dishes! Congratulations on the new Chef!

Friendly people, great food, cold beer. Stop by
Nachos burnt on the top and ice cold and unmelted in the middle, shrimp in fisherman's platter was so over battered and over fried I think it may have been refried at one point. I'm a local who lives right down the road and this visit makes me not want to go back again.
