I was inspired to study neurosurgery by my younger brother that suffers from a brain injury. The most rewarding part of my job is helping patients and their families negotiate the complex decisions necessary to deal with difficult brain and spine problems.

You'll never meet a more condescending man or staff. If you have doubts about a procedure, he'll make you feel worst. I have no confidence in him. Trust me when I say, he doesn't know how to be or treat anyone like a human being. No respect. And he's trained his staff to treat you the same way. I'd make sure he is not at the hospital you're going because you'll wish you hadn't. You're better off charming snakes or running barefoot across hot coals. After what I consider a failure by Vanderbilt's neurology team, I had an aneurysm in the pons area of my brain, the day after Christmas, December 26, 2016. I was taken by ambulance from Springfield to Skyline Hospital, unconscious of course, where as I gather a team of specialists were called in, including Dr. Franklin. I was referred to Dr. Robbie Franklin because I was diagnosed with Pseudo Tumor Cerebri. I was told that I may be a candidate for a stent to help with the continuous headaches. I sent in to have an angiogram done to see if and where the stent(s) would be placed. I want in for at 12pm and was sent home well after 7pm. I was put in a twilight sleep for this procedure. Dr. Franklin completed the repair of a CFL leak at the base of my frontal lobe in 2019. His services were superb from A-Z. I would not hesitate to see Dr. Franklin again or refer someone in need of a neurologist to him. He was compassionate, competent, and professional. His team was equally stellar.
It was a little over six years ago when my wife and I would first meet Dr. Franklin. My wife suffered a ruptured brain aneurysm and was given about a 50 50 chance to survive. Dr. Franklin who saved her life and cared for her the next several months. I hate to think about what the outcome may have been without God and Dr. Franklin. I will forever be grateful to God Almighty and to Dr. Robbie L. Franklin. He's a remarkable Surgeon and human being.

The best neurosurgeon period. I wish I had him for my first surgery but he still fixed me up. So thankful for him. I would recommend going to him so much that I would trust him with any member of my family.
Dr. Franklin takes great care of my son and my family. He is thourough in explaining his plans and takes time to answer all of our questions. His confidence was reassuring on the day of surgery and because of his talent and hard work my son is doing very well. We couldn't be more appreciative. Thank you Dr. Franklin!
Dr. Franklin did my brain surgery last year. I had a very complicated brain tumor on my brain stem. I came to know about Dr. Franklin thru my original neurologist, who had told me he wanted me to go see Dr. Franklin. I went thru with the surgery and I stand here today to testify that this man is definitely sent from heaven.
