About this business

History: The history of the festival began in early 1986 when a small group of individuals discussed the feasibility of establishing a local event to promote Franklin Parish. Enjoyed it. The weather was perfect. There was an assortment of vendors, and the entertainment was good. Mark Lowery did a great job. He could have performed longer as far as I was concerned!

We purchased a bench from the La Delta Community College school of carpentry. The instructor was very nice, and the young men there helping him were very polite and accommodating. We plan to ask them to build other things. Great day, beautiful weather and many vendors. Awesome event.
