Franklin Manor has been a wonderful place for my mom. From the moment we started the admissions process, it has been a wonderful experience. Kourtney is very patient, kind, and knowledgeable of the needs of the community. The staff went above and beyond to assist me with getting my mom settled in. My mother developed Alzheimer's about a year and a half ago. She lived with my brother for the first year and recently ended up in the hospital after a fall. While she was in the hospital, we realized mom needed more care than we could give her. I reached out to Franklin Manor to talk with them and Kourtney from the admissions team who instantly felt like an extended family member jumped right in to help. My mother was there for four years and neglected. She was in and out of the emergency room nine times with no explanation to her injuries. No one ever knew what happened. No one ever contacted me and talk to me about it. The few that did quit their job because of bad management. There was time she was never given her medication. The last trip to the emergency room with a severe skin oozing skin infection lead to her demise. She did not die a peaceful death! We thought it was nice until we stayed for an extended period while my mother in law was in her final days. They refused to medicate her as the doctor ordered and gave us crap every time we asked for them to follow the orders. Within days her cell phone was gone and within weeks her jewelry was taken off of her neck. They do not know who is coming and going.
