Overall the staff is very accommodating and amazing. If you have concerns or ask them to change something they do their best to make it happen. The administrators in the front have been great. The activities director in the back is incredible, so upbeat. Some of the nurses are very personable. Memory Care is an extremely challenging disease, and I appreciate what they all encounter on the daily. My hats go off to them. I chose Franklin Manor because the Admissions Director convinced me that this was the right facility-focused solely on memory care. Being a caregiver at a dementia facility is not an easy job and I get that. Some of the staff seemed kind and caring and others not so much. They appeared to be understaffed and management was usually in their offices. During some visits, I’d see residents doing activities, but many just slept in front of the TV.
