My mother developed Alzheimer's about a year and a half ago. She lived with my brother for the first year and recently ended up in the hospital after a fall. My mother was there for four years and neglected. She was in and out of the emergency room nine times with no explanation to her injuries. No one ever knew what happened. No one ever contacted me and talk to me about it. The few that did quit their job because of bad management. There was time she was never given her medication. We thought it was nice until we stayed for an extended period while my mother in law was in her final days. They refused to medicate her as the doctor ordered and gave us crap every time we asked for them to follow the orders. Within days her cell phone was gone and within weeks her jewelry was taken off of her neck. They do not know who is coming and going. It was a great place to be at especially when they had a GREAT CNA/Med Aide by the name Ms. Robyn. My grandma loved her so much, but now she is very unhappy. Now that Ms. Robyn is gone. She really wants to leave.
