Frankinstien Bikeworx is a rider owned and operated bike shop. We love bikes. We design bikes, we build bikes, we work on bikes, and every day we ride and rely on the bikes that we sell. We specialize in single speed and fixed gear bicycles as well as various other commuter options including hybrid and flat bar road bikes. We're now exclusively selling our own design for Biria. It's their first bike made exclusively for the American market.

The owner is cheap. He put my tire on wrong, and when I came back 20 minutes later, he tried to charge me for his own mistake, after I had spent way too much money there in the first place. Go elsewhere, you can get better service, for much cheaper.
Worst costumer service ever! – I will never set foot in this shop again and advise the same of others. The owner was so rude, judgemental and mean- I had every intention of buying a new bike there but decided not to just because I did not want to give him my money- I will go elsewhere where the salespeople actually respect and listen to their customers.
Not So Good – Bad Experience! Kind of a Rip-off! I brought my bike in for a tune-up. I was quoted one price and when the work was done, I was charged a price so much higher. Beyond that, the work was not that great and the owner talks out his @ss. After the work was done, the brakes were still not braking properly and the gears were rough when shifting. A very good no-frills shop – Not the place to go if you want to get schmoozed into buying a 3000 dollar bike you don't need. There's a reason why Bike Worx is endorsed by Wharton guide - because they won't rip you off. Most people don't need their bike to be like Lance Armstrong's. Obnoxious Sales tactics – The owner is aweful! He will not stop talking!!! I"ve never had such a terrible experience in a store before. He bashes every bike brand excluding his own. He thinks Bianchi and Fugi are terrible. He pressured a friend of mine to buy a bike he didn't even want! He is so terrible I don't even know where to begin.
Frankenstien Bike Jerx – If you like to be belittled by an independant business owner then this is the place to go. In the five minutes I was in this store I saw two other customers feel pressured to buy things they didn't want and leave empty handed. I also heard the owner tell a customer that if she had to think about what kind of bike she had it sucked. I will never buy anything there.
