I recently had an appointment with Dr. Pedlow, it was a bit of a process scheduling the appointment as I was denied at first, then when I said Dr. Pedlow did my husbands surgery quite some years ago the an appointment was granted. I had a previous Dr. for surgery until my surgery was cancelled until I could get my A1C down. My husband urged me since I had to wait anyway I should see Dr. Pedlow for a second opinion. There is one thing in spine surgery that can't be taught. An artists vision and the hands to execute that vision. Dr. Pedlow has the rare combination of both. That is hard to find.

I’m now 8 weeks post-op from a L4/5 Laminotomy/discectomy. I just returned from a pain-free 3 mile walk. In July 2023, I went downhill mountain biking - something I have done many times before - but on a new bike that had me positioned lower and further back. I didn’t fall, but that night I could not walk and had shooting pain down my reg leg.
