About this business
Treating the mother, daughter, even the grandmother, is one of the best things about being an OB/GYN. Getting to know the husband/father of the child I delivered and have them come back for baby after baby is also one of the best things. Something that tickles my heart is that the grandparents are often even more excited than the parents. It's just a great experience all the way around.

Dr. Frank Patrick is a very good OB/GYN. He has a down to earth bedside personality and he knows how to calm a patient who is fearful or frightened. He delivered both of my babies. The first time I was pregnant he explained everything to me in terms I could understand. He ordered a simple blood test (not the needle in the belly) at 9 weeks in my pregnancy called Harmony which not only ruled out certain birth defects such as Down's Syndrome, but also told me I was having a little girl. Stork Obstetrics and Gynecology, Inc. has been in existence since 1997 located in South County attached to St. Anthony's Medical Center. Dr. Frank Patrick is the only doctor in the practice. The office staff at Stork Obstetrics and Gynecology is very friendly and professional. When you call the office you will get real people, not a computer. Dr. Patrick delivered my daughter and twin sons. I was fortunate to have very easy pregnancies both times. I loved going to his office and talking to all the ladies in the office. When we found out at 9 weeks that our second pregnancy was twins, the office staff and Dr. Patrick were all genuinely excited for us. My life was saved by Dr. Frank Patrick. I complained of back pain for several months. My PCP diagnosed me with a kidney infection and started me on an antibiotic called Macrobid. I continued to get worse so she sent me to a urologist. That urologist collected a urinalysis and changed my antibiotics to Cipro. After several return visits to the both the primary care and the urologist, my friend recommended that I see her OB/GYN to rule out any ovarian cyst or such. Dr. Frank Patrick is an extraordinary OBGYN. He removed my 22 cm cyst with two small incisions using what is called a laparoscope. The other OBGYN I consulted with wanted to cut my from my breast bone to my pubic bone. He does not take long at all to return calls, which is nice because I don't like to wait all day for a doctor to return a call. He explained everything to me in words I understood. This doctor eliminated my pain and suffering. He took the extra time to listen to my symptoms. He performed an ultrasound in his office and did blood work. After years of pain and being put off by other OB/GYN's this doctor listened to me and diagnosed me with endometriosis. He did a laparoscopy and laser it all away. Now I am pain free. He has delivered my three babies. He listens and I never feel rushed. He gave me wonderful 3D pictures of my last baby. When I called his office for a question or called his exhange, he would call me back quickly. I also saw his nurse practicionier once for a minor problem and she was good too. I am now pregnant with my fourth baby and I wouldn't want any other doctor delivering my baby.
This doctor is awesome. He saved my life. Several doctors told me my ovarian cyst was benign. This doctor told me that it should be removed. It turned out to be a borderline maligant tumor.
I hope the nasty comments do not sway you away from Dr. Patrick. I have never once gotten a 'creepy' vibe from him. I have been a long time patient of his and he has delivered both of my babies. With my last delivery, it was a Sunday and he was not on call. I was worried that I would end up with a doctor I didn't even know, but in walked Dr. Patrick. It was a relief to have a doctor I could count on! Maybe these other women are just a tad bitter! :-)
