If you are a woman and want to keep your ability to walk steer clear of this surgeon. Botched two surgeries and never even came to tell me in the hospital. Also never told me of the issues he found on my MRI. Misogynistic and unprofessional with women.

I had an appointment with Dr. Phillips yesterday and could not be more disappointed with how it went. First and foremost, I waited nearly two hours to be seen. A simple ‘sorry you were kept waiting’ would have sufficed, as we all understand doctors get held up. Dr. Phillips did not apologize for the inconvenience. Second, he was incredibly rude and pompous. I am currently on a workman's comp case and dr. Phillips has been amazing. When I first injured myself and realized id need surgery I instantly called him as he had done a similar back surgery on my father 15 years ago and he's still doing great. Dr Phillips and his staff assured me they would get me back to normal. Now I weeks post opp I can stand at my normal height again, am getting back to waking, and normal day life.
