Not as good as the Pepe's on Wooster Street. Thicker crust, not as crispy and less oil
arrive early! The place fills up quickly. They offer a good indoor waiting area and the staff does move you in, pretty quickly.
I've been a Pepe's fan since I was a kid and had my first real pizza at Pepe's in New Haven on Wooster Street. Unfortunately, it's an hour drive from my home. I was delighted to find that Pepe's was opening a branch in Manchester, a mere half an hour drive! We went for the first time last week, and I can honestly say that it's just as good as Wooster Street! Come early, though, or you'll be facing an hour wait in line! But you'll be rewarded with the best pizza on the planet!
