Be ready to order, the waitstaff comes by few and far between because of the amount of patrons. And always order a pitcher, a glass of soda is really small.
Worth the wait and there's even an annex shop with the same open coal brick oven. Got the clam pie with white sauce and clam and spinach pie with red sauce. Tasty.
Defy convention by leaving New York to get Pizza. (Nowhere but Pepe's can justify this...)
