Fabulous doctor. "The heart and soul of the department." So I was told by a resident physician during my last appointment. Still practicing in his early 80's. A wonderful human being and one of the most caring men I have ever known.

This is a very kind yet extremely patient and professional doctor. I have been a patient for over 15 years and have benefitted from his expertise in so many ways. The only problem I've ever experienced is finding him! OHSU is not a user friendly institution.

How would you compare this provider to others in his/her field that you have visited? Among the best I have seen
They are always more than happy to answer my questions, and actually welcomes questions. I was confident that they were using the latest treatment methods. I haven't seen any coupons or discounts for this provider's office, but I haven't really looked. They never mention anything about promotions when I'm there. The one thing that I really enjoy about this place is their high level of customer service. Their full attention is always on me and they never take personal calls during my appointment.

Dr. Hancey is the best there is, period. I don't really want to spread the word around as I don't want him to become less accessible to me if my opinion causes others to seek him out. I can't imagine my life without him in it - not sure I would even still be here without him.
