I had my first knee replacement with Eric Mirsky. Terrible Doctor!! Did not go well. I went to Frank liberace and after three more knee replacements, still not right. Lose part, stress fracture. He send me to Dr Capo to freeze my nerves. After 11 days pain was back. He send me to a bone allergy Doctor to see if I was allergic to the cement. So glad I didn’t end up at this chop shop. The excruciating pain in my hip and pelvis was misdiagnosed by Liporace as arthritis. Fortunately for me, more careful, intelligent and thoughtful second opinion determined I had avascular necrosis, a cut off of blood supply to the hip. I HAD no hip left. The second doctor also meticulously explored the possibility of infection and had fluid extracted and tested as well as cultures taken from my hip after he relaxed it. My sister had a knee revision on 10th October with Dr. Frank Liporace , My sister saw him on first consult for 2 minutes. We saw him on the day of surgery for five minutes which was delayed one hour plus with no explanations , we were told “surgeon is very busy” And he has six more procedures today. After my sisters surgery he spoke to my nephew over the phone and then we never saw him again. We don’t even know if he was present at the surgery , or it was done by robots.
