Dr. Berenson knows more about headaches than other neurologists I’ve seen and I’ve seen at least 7 or more different ones. He talks the talk. He asks the right questions. He knows migraines. I don’t know for certain, but I wouldn’t be surprised if he himself suffers from migrainesor more headache days a month, and, last month I had 9. I feel like I’m back, among the living. I can play tennis, go to the movies, and eat out at restaurants without getting a migraine. Thank You Dr. Berenson

I have been in Dr. Berenson's care for about 5 years for migraines. It's been a rough ride, but I'm doing much better. It's taken a while, but we've gotten my headaches under control. I've always appreciated the conscientiousness of his staff - they are wonderful.

One star is even too much for this doctor. Smug, arrogant, and zero bedside manner whatsoever. He might be highly educated in his field but he gives not one ounce of empathy or reassurance to the patient. He will talk over you when you try to explain your issues. And don't even try to ask him any questions about treatment options. If he doesn't agree with it, he will arrogantly let you know. Unfortunately there are not many physicians with his level of expertise in the Atlanta area. So sad.

Would give him zero stars if I could. He started out friendly, but then became very hands on and in my personal space. He started to turn appointments into personal questioning instead of medical. He hugged me for 10 seconds on two appointments (out of probably the 4 times I saw him) and squeezed my shoulder for long amounts of time, multiple times telling me how proud he was of me on those same appointments. He talked right over my mom and I when we had questions for him, and was very arrogant

Worst doctor we have ever seen. Very rude, arrogant and stubborn. He doesn’t care about his patients and crying out loud he is seeing kids and he has no empathy. He is walking around outside eating candies but doesn’t have a time to care his patients. He should change his profession and become an actor as he is playing games with his patients.

Watch out. His initial consultation visit: $440. I tried twice to obtain a cost estimate before I went for initial visit but staff was not able to provide one. I should not have kept my appointment but symptoms were severe. At the appointment, got in quickly. Dr's opinions? Sounded confident but really didn't know other than mentioning inflammation. And later, when I disputed the very high cost of the initial visit, a staff was quickly able to provide a cost range of follow up visits!

Dr Berenson is arrogant, impatient and completely oblivious to the issues facing children with epilepsy. He dismissed my 12 year old's worries and questions about her illness without any empathy at all. He acts as if prescribing any medication is a terrible inconvenience. The office staff is kind but they aren't speedy in returning calls. All in all, a bad experience. We will find another neurologist.

My daughter and I have suffered with migraines for years until we were treated by Dr. Berenson. His expertise has successfully helped us prevent and manage the pain. His bedside manner puts you at ease. He even comes out to the waiting room to retrieve his patients himself. You feel as if he spends a lot of time with you and you're never rushed, yet you never have to wait long, if at all, to see him.
