My husband and I stopped in looking for a room for the night. Donna was very sweet, and was able to accommodate. She even let me pick my room! The room was cozy, clean, and updated. Perfect for the night. Donna then booked us dinner in the pub. The food was good, service was good, and there was even live music! Cozy inn with awesome homey vibes, decorations and warm fireplace. AWESOME FRIENDLY STAFF. Cool horse drawn sleigh rides, skiing (cross country) on large flat area as well as various level of adventure trails for all experience levels. Tiny skating pond for ice skating, small slope for tubing, and cool lounge and game room with arcade games and table games. Nice bar with fancy menu options and good home style food. Beautiful, quiet location. Very cozy feel. Room was comfortable and clean. I would say a typical old home feel with drafty windows, old pipes, comfortably warm water to shower but not steaming hot. No tv in rooms which generally I’m ok with but we were there during the coldest weekend of the year (-13 zero) so not much else to do. Food in the pub was delicious with a cozy atmosphere but food was a little overpriced. Beautiful, typical New England Inn in the country with great views.
My dream day. Words can’t even describe how amazing of an experience we had. Kait took us on a beautiful ride, followed by the most beautiful place to take our engagement pictures. The dedication she gave to get the best angles and shots for us was unmatched. We could not have had a better photographer AND experience. I am so thankful we had kait. The rooms are nice but no TV. Our had the noise from the Pub coming thru the pipes so I wouldn't recommend room 31. The breakfast was nice. The Pub closes early and you can't bring your drink to the nice seating areas so you basically are sent to your room at 9:30. The food was very good and the staff there was attentive.
