I had bunion surgery last November and it went better then I expected. Thank you Dr. Harton. I had a Great anesthesiologist ,Dr. Lawson as well. My scar is nearly invisible , a work of art. One thing for patients to be aware of is that you are entitled to four free physio appointments though AHS but the first one (consult) must be booked no later then 80 days after surgery . Amazing Doctor, I was in great care with Dr Harton! Excellent bedside manner (lil humour as well)
Dr. Harton has absolutely no bedside manner. He diagnosed my toe which is bone-on-bone without examining it first. He explained in a nonchalant manner that I would be off my foot for 6 wks and loose too much muscle mass. After explaining I wanted to have a life he examined by toe. He grabbed it without any care and said there was nothing he could do. Then suggested I could cut it off! I told him it was the lazy and cheap way out. Good thing he's not a brain surgeon! He did recommend I get a 2nd opinion to which I will.
Dr. Harton is the best! He did bunionectomies on both my feet... second foot isn't 100% healed yet, but first foot feels and looks amazing with no more pain. I don't understand the negative reviews - while he is very direct and to the point, I found him to be warm, friendly, caring, and funny, and he's a very skilled surgeon. I'm so happy I was referred to him. Thank you Dr. Harton <3
