Bern going to him for such a a long time; best eye doctor I’ve ever been to and I’m 75. He is so friendly and compassionate, tells you every step of the way what’s going on, and has done several surgeries on my eyes. I wouldn’t go to anyone else !

I interviewed two cataract surgeons in St. Louis: a well-known "big-name" doctor with hundreds of reviews and Dr. Garcia-Ferrer. In the end, I chose Dr. Garcia-Ferrer—and it was the best decision I could have made. The other surgeon recommended multifocal lenses and laser surgery without much personalization. He didn't seem familiar with my name or medical history, his scheduling team wasn't aligned with him, and his waiting room was overflowing with 25+ people all waiting to see just one doctor. I wouldn’t waste your time. Even with a referral from my primary care doctor, they called to schedule an appointment only to tell me the first available opening was more than 14 months out. On top of that, the person I spoke with was dismissive and had a noticeably poor attitude. Overall, a very disappointing experience with this office. If you aren’t able to accept new patients, then update your system so other doctors don’t refer patients to your office Francisco.
