I am a new mom to be, currently 12wk 3days. I was so excited to have my OB care with the St Joseph’s midwife group, my goal was to give birth at the new midwifery center. I called to make appointments at around 5 weeks, I was scheduled for my new OB intake visit on 10/27. Receptionist is a gem. Reviews of her are spot on. 1/10 would not recommend.
Dr. Halom helped me attempt getting my first IUD this morning. My body did not enjoy this endeavor and subsequently I could not keep it in from how badly I was reacting. Dr. Halom and their nurse care team (Jess and Ebony) were fantastic and they helped take care of me through the pain/nausea/dizziness. I'm hoping for the opportunity to improve this review. Fingers crossed. It's been really difficult to get in, even with situations that put me at a higher risk. I don't want to go into detail about my medical situation because my name is published, but there was a miscommunication with the phone scheduler (or so I'm told) where I was turned away from receiving care for an urgent condition, even though I am an established patient. I'm leaving the state I find my doctor really weird she had a assistant with me then said I can't do an ultrasound acting like care net isn't a place and pressed hard on my belly and expect me to give birth there. And they ate really rude here they make you feel like everything you tell them is not a big deal and talk to you like your stupid and then she came in a few minutes then went back to l see thing the assistant in which I wish the assistant was my actual doctor.
