Wonderful experience viewing the various alters, paintings, art reliefs,and gardens. A real gem in the District of Columbia.
What I loved most: the church has full-size replicas of Holy Land shrines — like the Holy Sepulchre and others — the gardens are meticulously kept, full of roses, native plants, winding paths, and charming spots to just sit and breathe. There is also a Rosary Portico, small altars, chapels, grottoes that invite silence. Perfect if you want to disconnect for a while.
