Not only can you tour the monastery, but there’s also beautiful gardens adjacent to wander through. Try to go during a tour time so you can get down into the catacombs with the guide. We didn’t have any reservation, but the day we showed up there was plenty of space for us to join the group. Their gift shop is only open I believe Friday and Saturday. Easy parking across the street and a beautiful neighborhood. We actually went back a second day to walk through the gardens and enjoy the outdoor plantings, which are beautiful.... read more
