I wouldn’t say I was nervous but having a colonoscopy is an interesting procedure for sure. I was originally referred to another clinic in town that had horrible reviews so I asked what other providers I could choose from and ultimately picked this clinic. The phone call appt and prep instructions were super clear and easy to understand. The doctors and nurses explained each step carefully and throughly. Best colonoscopy I've ever experienced. Everyone was so upbeat, happy and kind - the nurses and Dr V.
This review isn't for the staff at the clinic. This review is about Mary from the insurance dept at St. Francis Hospital. I scheduled a screening appointment 3 months ago, everything looked good, everything was covered by insurance. And then I get a call the day before my procedure (during the liquid diet phase) that it's no longer in network and I would have to pay significantly more as a result. Apparently the clinic went out of network in Dec 2024 (month after I made the appt) and FAILED to notify me until the day before.... read more
