I really like Dr. Hyman. She’s great and caring and her staff are always supportive and helpful. I also appreciate that her office takes many insurances including state insurance.

I had previously left this review 3 years ago when Hyman and Fernandez were in the same practice and was asked by Fernandez’ office staff to update my review here since it appears they may no longer work in the same practice. Here’s my review that I stand by.. I’ve seen Dr Hyman a total of three times over the course of a few years for various reasons. Entire experience was horrible with this doctor. Her front desk staff is also incredibly rude. Dr. Hyman's office ordered genomic testing and baby's gender/chromosomal testing with company called Natera which ended up billing my insurance upwards of $13,000. My insurance denied the claims filed by Natera stating it was not medically necessary, and it was experimental testing. Dr. Hyman has been my gyno since I was in my 20s and grew with me in my 30s as my OB after my first pregnancy. I've had a great experience with her practice and delivered at Hoboken University Hospital.
