I had previously left this review 3 years ago when Hyman and Fernandez were in the same practice and was asked by Fernandez’ office staff to update my review here since it appears they may no longer work in the same practice. Entire experience was horrible with this doctor. Her front desk staff is also incredibly rude. Dr. Hyman's office ordered genomic testing and baby's gender/chromosomal testing with company called Natera which ended up billing my insurance upwards of $13,000. My insurance denied the claims filed by Natera stating it was not medically necessary, and it was experimental testing. Dr. Hyman has been my gyno since I was in my 20s and grew with me in my 30s as my OB after my first pregnancy. I've had a great experience with her practice and delivered at Hoboken University Hospital.
The best prenatal care, the most peaceful delivery and the after birth care was fantastic. Loved every second with Dr. Hyman and the whole team.
I honestly could write a novel on how amazing my experience was with Dr. Hyman & the team at Carepoint. I just delivered my 2nd son via C-Section with Dr. Hyman at Hoboken University Medical Center & yet again the care was top notch. (I also moved 40 mins away since my 1st child was born so I feel like that says enough about wanting to make the drive to see her!)
