Sorry to see this place close. The food is very good, and tasty. My husband loves the Oso bucco served on Tuesday notes. They will be missed.
Best food in all of Oakland. It will be sorely missed.
Patronizing since 1970 and still has great food. I started going with a friend in my high school years 1970-71...yeah boy, it is and was the best!
Loved it there our waiter was awesome!!! And the food was great....
Let me start with some positives. Nice atmosphere, and some of the food going out around us looked great. Unfortunately, our server made us feel like we weren't a priority. She was either way too busy or just didn't care. Couldn't get her attention to save my life! Also, the dish I ordered (Francesco's Special) looked like dog food. I was initially sold on it by the description of sautéed ground beef with eggs, spinach and mushrooms. I didn't expect it to be a non-descript, unsalted mess on a plate.
