I rarely leave bad reviews. I’m usually pretty understanding and reasonable—but anyone considering renting through FPM, or allowing them to manage your property, NEEDS TO BE WARNED. We had to fight to get our $850 security deposit back. This wasn’t a simple conversation either—it took time, effort, and even getting legal help involved before they finally agreed to return it. The worst company to rent from. They will take off money from your security deposit for issues that were already there when you arrived. Charges you late fees when you were on time. And Brenda does not know how to respond to an email within 3 days and has not answered a single phone call the entire year I resided in their black mold infested apartment. I would stay far away from this company!
They have a bunch of my properties. They have be amazing to work with compared to other property management companies that I've used in the past that I won't mention. I don't think you can go wrong. They give my Tenants a gift card at the end-of the year for taking good care of the units. Smart way to run a business in my book. I love them.!
The highest fee mill application of any property management company I have ever seen. I was gaslit by a rep saying I was likely to be approved, only to find $635 in fees before even paying any deposit or rent. In Mt book that's a fee-scheme. This should be illegal. If they take this much money from several family's every month; this far exceeds the rental price. That is incentive to perpetuate screening and applications above, actually renting it.
