I was really looking forward to trying this restaurant and drove half an hour to get here. The hours listed say they close at 9, but at 8:31 I was told dine-in had already closed at 8:30. I understand there are cut-off times, but being turned away just a minute past felt very unwelcoming especially for a Friday night after making the effort it took to get there.
Stopped by this place on the square in old downtown McComb, MS. Wonderful pleasant surprise. Very friendly staff. Fast turnaround on orders. Awesome food. It's a pizza place at heart, but they have fantastic overloaded sandwiches on hoagie bread and pizza bread. I had a ham and bacon lettuce and tomato hoagie with mozzarella. To die for, ate the whole thing and felt like I was gonna pop, but it was soo good I just couldn't stop eating. It was only a half. The bartender was a fabulous host! Fox’s alcohol selection is vast and I loved the IPA draft selections which are hard to find in McComb. The owner wasn’t friendly and let us sit at bar for about 5 minutes before the bartender arrived to help us. We ate a fantastic pizza and the wings were great too.
