Foxfire Good Food It has a clean atmosphere and lots of people serving you good food and a good time. Makes for an ideal date place. They are a good bargain, too, with good prices.
A great place to eat We recently visited foxfire in geneva and had a great experience. The waitstaff is very friendly and knowledgable. It's a steakhouse, but there are vegetarian options as well. There is an extensive wine list.
over priced glorified cafeteria food My wife and I dined here last night. Nice atmosphere, but that is it. The food was literally tasteless. I can only compare it to cafeteria food. I had stuffed tilapia which was over cooked and soggy. it was supposed to be stuffed with crab meat, but was stuffed with a fishy tuna salad type. very disappointing because it was $30 and I could only eat a few bites. Good place to gather and dine. I went with a friend for drinks and a meal. Food was excellent. I had the porterhouse with sautéed mushrooms and a salad and a raspberry sorbet for desert. The steak was one of the best Iâve eaten in awhile. My friend had the swordfish and said it was very fresh delicious. He said the entire meal was excellent. By far the worst customer service I've ever experienced at any restaurant. The Owner is an uncaring and ignorant person that does not care about his patrons. I would highly recommend staying far away from this restaurant. There are several better restaurants in the area and the menu here is very overpriced. If I could rate this establishment a negative number I definitely would!
Mandy, burger nights are our favorite date night!
We absolutely love Foxfire, the owners, bartenders and servers. We go once or twice each week and are happy every time. The friendliness is top notch, as is the food. $5. burgers on Mondays can't be beat. For that price you get a delicious 1/2 pound burger and either fries or a salad. Come on, I can't make it that inexpensively at home! Great wine selections and an extensive listing of beers. All in all, it is our favorite restaurant and Geneva has many to choose from!
