Update: 2/5/22 Drs. Hakimian and Klein, Illinois Cancer Specialists, actually saved my life. In Sep't 20, when I was diagnosed, I had lost over 40 lbs, 180 to 140, spent 20 hours of day in bed, and used a walker. Since then, I have had a stem cell transplant at Lutheran General using my own stem cells and am on various medicines. My weight is back to 165, and I enjoy all activities. Multiple myeloma is not curable at this time, but through my regimens, I expect to live for a long time. I owe a lot to these doctors.

Dr. Zahir is very knowledgeable with his practice. He is patient and takes the time to answer all questions you may have for him. I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone needing his services

It's rare to find an oncologist who, almost every day, visits the room where his patients are getting chemo. When members of our family have accompanied my mom to her infusions, Dr. Zahir has been available to answer our questions in person. He shows my mom her blood counts when they come back (weekly), discussing the results and any updates in her treatment plan. Each week he listens to her lungs and heart, while asking about our family and how Mom is feeling in general. We can count on Dr. Zah

Dr. Aslam Zahir is an exceptional doctor. I have been with him for almost 8 years and there is no one I would rather help me fight my cancer battle. He is compassionate, exceptionally knowledgeable, listens to his patients. Most kind person I know. Anyone that makes contradictory comments about this man "like he sucked" I wish you would contact me or keep your derogatory remarks to yourself.

If you want a doctor that gets right to the point and does not beat around the bush. She is the one! If you want a doctor that is up to date and is compassionate but holds you accountable she's the one. . she's brilliant.

Highly recommend Dr. Hakimian both for his competence (I'm in total remission) and his bed side manner

Great staff, clean offices, fabulous doctor. Dr. Brown is smart, kind, current and compassionate. I appreciate that everything is in one building from labs, pharmacy to radiation and scans.
